Charles Bombardier : "The LRC is a “retro/classic” people mover designed to transport people around the most crowded parts of a city or theme park. Its spacious egg-shaped body would be roomy enough to accommodate two sitting passengers, and a five-seater version could also be offered."

Charles Bombardier : "The name LRC comes from one of Bombardier’s first passenger trains. The acronym stood for “light, rapid and comfortable.” The people movers at Epcot Center and other theme parks inspired the concept, which is used to show tourists a preview of the parks’ attractions and ferry passengers."

It is challenging to come-up with form which is retro/classic looking but still a futuristic design. After studying different products with classic and futuristic look. I did Ideations and from exploration also tried different color ,materials which will fit into context of LRC . The shape of LRC is inspired from R2-D2 of Star wars.

The concept starts with initial brief idea. After initial rough idea I did Idealization on the bases of Product study and brief further to that it leads to from exploration and conceptualization.
Final concept is then created in 3D using Alias automotive and rendering did in kayshot and all post-production of concept is created in Photoshop.

Charles Bombardier :"The LRC is not meant to be a new, highly technological transportation system. It’s mean to revamp old transportation systems and offer new ways to ferry passengers downtown and around parks. The idea is to use existing affordable, low-cost materials and technology, and design a nice standard platform that could be used across the world."

The concept is based on all available technology so it possible to implement it in theme park or crowded parts of city.
