RETRO: A Lookbook, composed by me with my amazing muse Brooke Vermeersch | This photo book is to give the feel of something old but still very modern. The fashion and the aesthetic all coming together to make one piece. When composing this piece I tried to make it as perfect as possible, but I have come to realize that you don't need perfect to translate the message. This is my very first lookbook and I am so excited to share it with you guys.

I really wanted to do a Fashion shoot, and I also wanted to make it minimal but yet sophisticated in style. I had this idea of using teal, brown and white as the color palette; so that help me choosing the props and location.

First, I picked out the outfits that were to be used. I didn't focus on the brands but rather how it looked and tied into the piece. Then I chose a location. I was tempted to do an outdoor shoot since it was sunny and beautiful outside, but I decided to do an indoor shoot to make it more down to earth and retro. I used a Canon 50D with a 50mm lens to shoot, Adobe Lightroom to edit them and Adobe Indesign to create the lookbook.

This project was created also to give people a sense of my style and who I am. Figuring out who I was and what I was able to do was really hard for me but I soon as I knew that I was ready to share it with everyone.

I am only passionately curious." - Albert Einstein
