SMARTGRO - Hydroponic Flower Pot

This project is client based work for a Chinese client that set the target market and user for us. All materials and aesthetics were based on the function needed and user personal styles. Our goal was to have a very simple to use product that obtained great style and smart use of materials.
Our designers use Solidworks for 3D modeling, Keyshot for rendering and Photoshop for additional presentation support. We use a traditional method for developing products at our firm that us sustainable and user-focused. From research, concept ideation, 3D modeling, 3D printing, material choices and manufacturing methods, we try to cover all aspects to make this product or any product we design to be ready for mass production.
The response for this project has been overwhelming and the future for hydroponic design in the house and office is very bright. We have done many designs in the past year that involve the experience of growing plants indoors. One of our projects is currently being sold online at the MoMA product store. So many new uses for hydroponic plant growth are coming into play for the future and we will definitely be a part of the design of these products.
