Vectorama
These are a few vector illustrations from various personal and commercial projects by illustrator Juan Villamil aka Juan Sin Miedo. It goes from gig posters, t-shirts designs, fan-arts and just for fun illustrations developed through the 2014 and 2016 .
This project was born as a need of showing different pieces that weren't part of a big project by their own, but were related by the technique they were created. For the same reason, the ideas came from different places because it is a collection of various artworks, but they all have in common an influence of rock music, tattoo traditions and urban culture.
Most of the time I start with a digital sketch in photoshop, my next step is making a clean line work on illustrator and then I make the base color, this is the moment where I decide the color scheme, after that I add shadows and then I do the lighting, all in Illustrator.
The response of people was amazing! I never expected so many kind comments from people all over the world, many people was curious about my creative process and also I receive so many color-related feedback which make me feel really happy.
