Sick of the traditional look of Stadiums? Paris based digital artist gives us a glimpse of what the future holds for Stadium Design. What was supposed to be a sketch turned into a project that
Rémy enjoyed making.

It is a futuristic soccer stadium that I imagined and modeled in 3D. At the beginning, I just had to imagine a simple sketch to help a friend who studied in sport and who was making a thesis of end of study on the Evolution of football. Finally I let myself absorb by the desire to finalize the concept and that's how I went from sketch to photo-realistic rendering.

Euro Football is going to be held in France 2016 brought lots of renovation project or new stadiums, from the most classic to futuristic, but among these projects, some gave me the desire to show my vision of the future. I wanted a stadium with materials expressing the lightness, simple curves that suggest a basic organic structure as if it were an embryo or cocoon of something. And most of the light! For me I want the big matches are played at night become the center of attention of an entire city and that it is visible from the outside.

Some stadiums have inspired me as the new Stade Velodrome in Marseille, Beijing National Stadium or the new stadium in Nice "Olympic Nice Stadium". But I preferred not to look just before starting to not influence me too much.

I consider myself as a dreamer and a nostalgic person, that's my earliest memories are always more romanticized than like that happened in real life so I try to take into consideration this aspect of my personality when I compose a scene in 3D giving a warm atmosphere. Most of the time I like to model scenes related to my hobbies like airplanes ,cars, Old architecture, but it can also arise after seeing a film to me really liked or exposure on a subject that moved me. An artist that inspires me a lot with my illustrations, is Lucio Perinotto - a painter at the Air and Space Museum at Le Bourget. I love what he paints!

I can speak about 3D aspiring artist. There are 2 basic rules: Work hard and do not be discouraged especially in the beginning. 3D modeling software seem "barbarical" at first, but it will become evident by dint.

We've also published some modern stadium/sports complex recently by amazing artists - Sports Complex & Union Force Sports.
